Apollo is the UK’s largest privately-owned liquid adhesive, sealant, coating & primer manufacturer. They supply high-performance products worldwide across a range of industrial, construction, roofing and end-user markets. Supply is direct and via distributors, under Apollo and private-label brands. The challenge was to improve performance, efficiency and productivity of staff. A new performance management system was introduced but staff lacked the soft skills for effective implementation.
To create customised performance management, coaching and mentoring training to team leaders and key staff to bring to drive new levels of performance integrating the new performance management process. A series of experiential skills-based workshops were combined with on-line and in person performance management training and one-to-ones.
Improved performance scores y/y. Clearer understanding of great performance, how to discuss it and measure it. Improved quality of conversations and feedback at all levels within the organisation.
